Any suggestions for dampening the vox? I have already compressed them. I tried to lower volume, but it is hard for me to understand the words when I do this. It kind of bleeds into the guitar too much for for my taste. but then again, the chorus i added to vox was after I attempted volume...

I wish i had a dobro! it's a just an accoustic with some super thin strings. i plugged directly into my 8-track. just restrung it and tuned by ear. I wanted a swampy sound for the slide. clean tone. no comp or fx. as for the vocals... i know. :( I was very displeased that they didn't match...

Beautiful guitar. I gots: fender squier fender strat esp ltd fend jazz bass washburn acoustic hohner acoustic and a guitar made out of a cigar box. never stays in tune... but sounds great! :)

harmony is beautiful. It paints a nice picture. I agree with Anfontan, though. Sometimes it is hard for me to hear the nice chord changes on the guitar. Other than that, beautiful mix.:)

Maybe? I am not a pro, and am new to this myself, but what I do, if the guitar is all one clip, cut parts that need to be louder and paste them on another track with a higher volume. I know this may be the wrong way to do it, but it seems to work for me. :rolleyes:
