That seems really high for an m600. They are kinda pretty though. I've got an AMEK TAC Scorpion that does me fine. Nicer eqs, 24x16 (there are 32x16s) AND there is a place in CA that does Langly pre amp rebuilds. I paid $1400 for mine 7 years ago and that is still the going price. $1200 is...

Just got a new one for next to nothing. I have a Teac E-3 demagger that I will send to whoever needs one. Please let's limit this to whoever doesn't have a demagger. If you've just started analog recording you MUST have a demagger. I think Sweetbeats posted a great video on how to do it.

Its very pretty but like sweet said they weren't the best when new and parts can't be found. Would look nice in a museum though....If anybody is REALLY interested after talking to the guy directly I can go and eyeball it.

Shred, Yeah its a beauty. Totally rebuilt and re capped all cards (new relays), Power supply, mother board, bias card, tensioner by Soren Withrop in Chicago. Most expensive MX70 EVER. Luckily I got it AND all the brand new 499 tape above it for $400.
