I know Sweet. Still have the board and some great comps but the up keep was too much. Deck went to Chicago. Look forward to your PM. Rather you guys have it than some reseller.
I know this isn't the for sale area but wanted you guys to have first dibs. I've got 11 reels of 456 that I bought new and have been used. Can't say if it is one pass or not. I do know that it worked fine on my MX 70. Sadly, no longer in analog world so it has to go. 10 are in boxes, one...
This is the other mixer I took out of a church installation. Let me know if any of you are interested. Such a deal for you!
Yamaha MG16/4 mixer
Thanks.
Hi all. Long time. I took a couple of super clean smallish mixers out of a church recently and thought some of you might be interested. This Sony is a tank. Very heavy. Sounds great.

Trade?
Well taken care of temp controlled storage new, sealed Ampex 499 tape. Not the kind that gets sticky. Selling my analog stuff. I have 5 sealed. 1 with a tear in the plastic but unused. $80 a piece.
I believe it is the last one that you don't need the special pliers for. Terry does great work. He did the roller on my MX70. I have tons of parts btw. 16 track heads, cards, bias card, remote, cabling AND Tape (NOS 499) if you need anything.
Hello again. I've got some unused, sealed reels of 499 i'm thinking of selling but don't know how much to ask. Any input? I bought them new here in Cleveland from the Little Warehouse. I think it was their last.
Had both machines. While they both sounded great the Otari is just a better built machine and easier to service and find parts for, especially if you're anywhere near Chicago where there is a great Otari repair guy. I have two MX 70s (16 and 8 track) and love them.
That said, as with any...
