Funny I came on this board wondering what the RME piece would do for me. So If I already have a Delta 44 exactly how would the Multiface improve my setup?? I am curious about that piece. Sorry to highjack ya thread...
Geoff
I got a delta 44 and have no problems. I had an audiophile before this and it broke mysteriously. I believe it can be fixed but it had something to do with always having to unplug and replug cords. It ended up f&cking something up. My delta 44 has had zero problems.
I am confused. The whole point of a multitrack recorder is to play tracks and be able to layer others over top as you go...
I just got reaktor and goddamn WTF is going on with this shit??
I use nuendo or cubase to track/edit
wavelab or soundforge to put on the finishing touches and bust out a cd.
What you do if you want to do that in cubase is cut out the section you want different plugins on. Only thing is that you can't run them as inserts you have to actually put them right on the track. A pop up comes and asks if you want to apply the plug to the whole track or just that section of...
Yeah I found that dsp card very interesting. That may be the way I go...Or I may just stick with what I got for now and spend elsewhere. I was curious to see what people thought was the top of the plug-ins..
I went and took a read and nuendo has more period.

There you can now read about both if ya want.
I don't really want to debate either way here cause I have never used...
Hi there,
I am curious as too what y'all consider to be top of the line plug-ins. I purchased a fair amount of waves' plug-ins but I have a bit more to spend. So what would you guys consider some top of the line plug-ins. I am currently using nuendo 2.1 on a pc.. I have scouted out some TC...
I have never used samplitude and I won't bother cause I am very comfortable with Cubase and Nuendo. Nuendo with my set of waves plugs is pretty much all I need software wise.
Exactly how does samplitude have more to offer??
Ummm how do I go from mono to stereo on a track. In the first sx quite easy you just clicked the little o button and got a highlighted oo...I just look around briefly yesterday and couldn't find how to do it. So before I pour thru the manual for this little feature anyone wanna tell me off...
I needed a copy of sound forge so I went with the new one and it has wavehammer?? I haven't used the older versions to compare to tell you if its the same thing but its there and its called wavehammer.
Yup you understood.
I had a feeling that was the case with the limiter but wasn't sure if there was a plugin out there up to the task. I will try those plugin's and I am pretty sure I will go with the vxp for the pre amp. Thanks guys
Geoff
I am looking for two things currently to help my recordings. One is a new pre-amp and the other a limiter for a final boost. I noticed this has both amongst other things but these are the two main points I am looking at. Anyone with some use with this piece shed some light for me. I am kinda...
