I wanna grab a Great River Pre 1nv from the States but don't know what kind of border fees I should expect. I have been on hold with our fantaboulus government for a bit(being that it is friday I can probably get a quicker response here) and figuire some of you guys must have bought stuff...
Ahhhhhh I don't feel like shelling out 100+ dollars for the mount for this mic. Tho I am really happy and excited that I get to go pick it up and play with it tonight. Any home remedies?? Just in case my mic clips and shockmounts I have right now won't fit it.
Never done it. Good question..I do know I see most knowledgable people usually saying not to "compress" and I would figuire this would fall into that same sorta catagory. Just take alittle more time and track it properly. But I don't ever record drums so I am not your best bet to answer this...
I hate my first condensor and I am such a stooge that I hate my second one too. I went back to dynamics. They just work better with what I have currently. Maybe someday down the line I will venture back into the condensors again.
Will do. I like to mess with the eq a bit to carve a spot for the basslines. Cause its hiphop lets be honest if it has no bassline or bump for the ride then what good is it. But I'd like to get them more pronouced with less eqin. I am gonna try this tonight...
I pan everything and never once thought to pan the bass. I gotta try this. You notice it comes much clearer or what?? I am always strugglin to really define the basslines in my group's tracks...
Man for me(not a producer but emcee)..I am a lucky one I guess. My girl is all into music. So she understands the luv and the 5 guys in a room tryin to put the finishing touches on an album at 3 in the morning when she has to wake up at 7 to work. So I am straight. I used to date this...
I grabbed a beat with original insturmentation on it. Gotta luv that word. So my sample problems are a thing of the past now I guess. I will just create a new track for the compilation. I will be pre-ordering 1 copy and I will email you when I get home tonight. PEace
I have no idea where the samples are from man...Not a clue...My man Stak provides all the beats and scratches for our projects. He tends to chop up shit farly well and mix and match samples. He is the Dj and I am the emcee. Actually he emcees aswell and I do all the mixing and stuff like that...
