    Relic- Titano 61C0R

I've been looking for info on this little gem for some time now with no luck. Not even sure who made Titano. It's a 1 12" tube combo. Currently it's not working but I'd love to fix it up. Taped inside the openback enclosure was an envelope with the schematic so that should help. Here's what I...

    Bands, Drummers & Click Tracks

I noticed the other day while skimming through some pro studio sites that they have "studio prep" pages and that many of them discuss the importance of the "click". Some even insist on it's use. I've found it to be helpful on straight foward stuff but I can see the difficulty in tempo changes...

CANNOT RETURN MIC's! i told ya..

Back in my club days when I could still hear, GG Allin stuck a perfectly good beta 58 right up his ass on stage. Shortly after he was clubbed with a mic stand. Now that's entertainment! We burned the mic in the incinerator.

what strings work the best for you?

I use the same balls. Dude, I don't own one but the Iceman was one my favorite guitars I ever played. I think I've seen one since. Do they still make them?

I've Decided on My Next Guitar

    Where's your thumb?

I'm trying to remember but it's been a while since I screwed around with bass. Was it the Fender Jazz that had the thumb rest? I think I played a LP Studio that also had a thumb rest.

    I neeeeeeeed a list here...

I've always thought that as well but I just scored an 805 and it's actually a pretty cool little amp. There's some mods I'm going to try but bone stock it sounds pretty nice. The factory gain stage sucks pretty bad but the mod is supposed to help that a bit.

    Do I need a Mic pre-amp?

We're here to help and learn. At least I am.

    I neeeeeeeed a list here...

The AW16G is actually a pretty nice machine but stay away from the onboard stuff when it comes to guitar. We need to concentrate on the old GI/GO theory here. (garbage in garbage out) It would be helpful to know which crate you are using. I'll assume it's a GT1200H. Crate makes some interesting...

    Do I need a Mic pre-amp?

Yes. Also I would suggest to tone down a hair. You get a little jumpy when people here are telling you to do your homework. Apparently you are and that's good. It's just very important that you learn for yourself and make educated decisions especially when buying gear. We've all been down this...

    M-Audio PM I/O and OSX 10.3.9

In case anyone is on the same page I was. We hadn't brought our new I/O into the studio yet and had it set up at our house to burn in and check for bugs. First we installed everything on a newer g4 laptop, hooked up the I/O and wallah we were online. Next we took the G4 800 iMac from the studio...

    Newbies,listen up!

Couldn't agree more! I really don't understand where this thread was going in the first place but as far as the advice from real world experiences, this is it. I'm 39 and just completing my first project studio. With Rick, Rod, Knightfly and some others guidance it turning out better than I ever...
