-watch the autotune on the vocals. you can really notice it at 00:14 on the word "my"
-at 00:41 you need a low cut/shelf on the clean guitars. the low end is a little too much.
-is the opening guitar out of tune? maybe it's just the twangy timbre
-are the distorted guitars recorded direct...
this is just a preproduction before we hit up the big studio. Any comments on mix, production, etc would be appreciated.

the audix D6 is great for rock/metal/punk etc. I love the size of it and the response is fairly scooped at 400hz which i love as well.
One con about the D6: it's not as hot of a mic as the beta 52 or the d112.
Best burning speed with modern burners depends. It's all about cd drive and cd brand combination.
1x and 2x are generally NOT good burning speeds with newer cdr drives.
I tend to always burn 8x or 10x for critical stuff.
