    The dbx 1066...

You're wrong. I'm sorry, but you're just wrong. The 1066 has better components and sounds better than the 166. If you don't believe me when I say it is different check out the specs.

    Waves Gold Bundle Compressors

I guess it all depends. For anything rock I tend to stick an L1 on it--but I don't slam it.

Can Pro tools run on a Amd 64 system as good as it would on a mac

No, it's very rare that I have crashes and if I do, protools just exits--no freezes. It's a Pentium P4. Oh, and I do not use reverb plugins or delay plugins and that makes a difference, but I do use a lot of L1's and C1's--those tend to hog up the ram too.

    Click track with a band?

i'm going to have to agree completely with Lrosario. Amateurs can't play to clicks. I play drums to a click. This makes it soooo much easier. I can do three takes and toggle between playlists in protools and take the best parts of each take to make a perfect drum take. Slap a little beat...

    Favorite Software Mastering Chain

IMO you'll never find character in a plugin which is why i always try to go for transparency if i'm using plugs.
