    I hear/see alot of SB/ different variations of this sound card I was at a computer show this weekend and picked up a soundblaster card and I dont wich one it is!the software that came with it says PCI128. Will this card be good/better than descent for getting music onto my computer?

    achieving "red book standard"

    Hi people, my question is how do I achieve red book standard, without computer software? I have about 10 songs I feel are ready to be mastered on dat format. Is it easier to put them on the computer and use sound forge? Is there any other software available besides soundforge and t-rex?
