yeah after drstawl suggested the normalize thing i reached for sound forge, only thing though is learning to normalize every wave the exact same way, ya see some of the stuff im recording, came from prerecorded material to begin with, i burned a comp. cd for my mom from her collection of cds...
when you say "nomalize", will this make all my tracks the exact same level,(does normalizing have a set parameter which will make all/any wav. file the exact/almost exact
same volume?
I am using adaptec easy cd creater/copier to burn audio cds, and eack track is at different levels! I am aware now that I have to edit each tracks volume accordingly in some sort of audio editor, is there any software to make this task easier? peace!
believe it or not I use acid as a multitrack! and thats it. I bought acid style last year and was fairly pleased but ran out of track room (limited to 8 tracks) so then I bought acid music because of the unlimited track feature, and I love it!
p.s. the envelopes came in handy too! peace

ok you can go here to this site, but the loops require a little tweaking to get right in acid.

I posted this topic twice because I didnt know where to ask but here is my scenario/ question. I am recording a nonstop dance mix to my computer, when its finished it will be one long wav. I am using adaptec ez cd and I am aware that this program will record this wav as one track. My question...
Hey thats kool, I made/re-created the light saber noise from star wars. I have a funny feeling that it has to do with grounding, but I have some of my gear set up on these metal gorilla racks, and was messing with my mic and just happened to get to close to the rack, and the sound...
I got vegas, but dont like to much, its seems at first glance a little more complicated than I want! All the video stuff etc. What I do like about it though is the DX pluggin support, although I dont know how to really use them yet! peace Aussie
I would like to know what a pluggin is? I see it for my acid, cool edit, I have the demo version of cakewalk pro 8 and recently sonic foundry's vegas pro, and when i click on the pluggins for vegas pro, this cakewalk thing jumps in and I do not know what is all about? can anyone help?
if Im not mistaken isnt (Am) a combination of 2 keys? if so would it be possible to record those two keys, and combine them to make the (Am)? Im really sorry if my knowledge is incorrect, but if im right then u should be able to that just fine unless you are using a song that is already recorded...
