What do guitarists use for drums?

I use an Akai MPC2000xl to record drum ideas and song demos and I get a real drummer for live and serious recordings. Also if you spend enough time programming drum loops and have good samples, you can fool a lot of people to think that is somebody playing it for real.

    7 string and baritone guitars

I have a Dean Avalache(?) 7-string and a Dean Acoustic Preformer that have bad action on the neck, no good pick ups, and it just seems a lot of companies slapped together real quick to make a couple of bucks. As far as I banez goes, a lot of the 7-strings I have found out to be discontinued...

    7 string and baritone guitars

Good Luck finding one. They have kind of fizzled out after a bunch of companies lost a bunch of guitars that only a couple of people are into. I've got three 7-string guitars and now when I pick up a 6-string a play chords wrong. I love 7-srtings but I'm having a hard time finding a real good...

Making a conract for the use of my drums...

What you said is totally correct, except they are playing for high school kids who for the most part don't care what you play and just want to see there friend act dumb on stage. Also it's something for the kids to talk trash about the next day at school.

    drums

Try posting this in a sequencing/sample forum. But I heard DiscreateDrums (there is a great chance I spelled the name wrong). Also there are so many different sequencing software out there, That it depends how serious you are about producing and how much you want to spend. I use a Akia MPC2000XL...

Which way is the best for gripping drum sticks?

I probably should have asked the question differently. I was wondering which grip gave you the most versatility and if one had more advantages that the other. The reason I started this thread is because I am getting real interested in learning drums, and which grip I should get myself used to...

    Which drum machine?

Try Akia MPC, I have a MPC2000xl and it's great, only one catch. NO sound in it already you have to down load every sound, but that way you can have any sound you want. Also it is a sampler.

real drums played like crap still better than a machine on my tracks

I use an akia mpc2000xl for drum tacks wich sound a hell of a lot better then my friends crappy set recorded in a crappy room. It depend on what samples you have for drum hits and how much time you put into programing loops. I'd rather put real drums to my music but if the drums that I have...
