Miner, aside from the weird phaser thing I like this tone a lot. Sounds like one of them tones that you can just jam on for ages. In fact, if you stuck that track on a loop and started noodling over it you'd probably go on for ages without noticing!

Yeah, the emulated out is minging. Just coming up with ideas really - I'm gonna start building my new cab over the next few weeks then I'll swap my combo for a HT20 head. I'll be able to travel with the head far more easily so i'll be able to use it to put sctrach tracks down during the week.

Never really tried anything do with "mastering" before. I just leave my master fader in Reaper well alone. Anyway, I just added the standard Reaper "JS:Master Limter" to my master FX. Left all the presets well alone. I've now applied it to a few different projects and it just makes everything...

Hi mate, I'm listening on good headphones. The synths and all that stuff sound great. Agree with what the others have said about the drums thouogh - they're way up front. When they first kick in they feel like they're in my eyes!

Listening on good mixing headphones. The rhythm guitars are disappearing into the background and the drums aren't having the impact I would expect them to have - the snare is completely audible but just doesn't seem to crack, it almost sounds quite dry. Don't quite know how to describe this...

Yeah, was just having a mess about. It was about 7:30 in the morning here so I was just having a mess about without making any noise. Weirdly my amp still worked without the effects return plugged in, I expected it to be quiet, but I had to turn the master right down.
