I'm with Rickson on this one. If I were you, I'd just stick with the Boogie Distortion. I would pretty much say that any pedal is not even going to come close to that. I think you'd just be dissapointed.
Tube Screamers are used to boost the distortion channel a bit, and you can use it on the...
I don't think he said or meant anything like that. Merely meant that to be a drummer, you should know how to tune them well. If you haven't picked up sticks ever, of course you're not a drummer (not counting hand percussionists or anything like that) and of course you can't play drums.
(I...
Screw that Audigy, man. (Not to be harsh or anything.) Go for something like a M-Audio Delta 44 or Delta 66, or even a Delta 1010. (Not sure on the price of the 1010, it might be a bit over budget) Those Audigy soundcards are for gaming, NOT recording. They suck ass, hardcore.
Mine too, mx...
Where did you try to change the drivers for windows sound? Control panel ----> sounds and audio devices, then click the audio tab. There you should be able to select the "default audio device" for playback and recording. Sorry if this is actually what you already tried.
Listening as I type....typing as I listen.....whatever.....
Drum intro is kinda long and boring, IMHO. There's a LOT of reverb there, if it were me, I'd cut down on the amount of reverb, especially on the kick. But I think that is more of a stylistic choice than anything. Kick kinda gets...
I like 'C' the best, especially the guitars. Those guitars sound sweet. I like the drums better in the clean parts when they have more room to breathe (or something like that :D ) When the guitars come in, they seem to lose a bit of space, but this is really nitpicky. Really, really...
Thanks for the reply.
Ok, cool, so 4 or 8 ohms would be ok? I guess I was just asking it as a general question about impedence and whatnot.
If there isn't a pot, how would one actually adjust the voltage?
I don't really plan on doing it myself; I don't know nearly enough to be...
My guess is that it is mainly used for deeper editing of the effects presets. You might be able to trigger other MIDI equipment with it, or trigger the internal sounds with an external controller, but as I don't own one, I can't say for sure. I'm no MIDI expert, so if anyone else knows better...
Hey all,
I have an all Vintage Club 50 3x10 combo amp. I've been toying with the idea of pulling the amp electronics and making a head out of it. The one concern I have is that there are 3 10" speakers in there rated at 16 ohms each, wired in parallel, which comes to an impedence of ~5.33...
