    Hooray For Santy Claus!!

Regarded as one of the worst musical moments in film history, this song was in the opening titles of the 1964 film "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians". I think the original is by Milton Delugg and The Little Eskimos.. I hope my remake continues the tradition of terrible-ness.. Merry Christmas...

    In Her Eyes

Wow that's really nice! Good vocals, nice song overall.. My main concern is the frequency range of the strumming guitars is kind of walking all over the vocal.. I'd bring them down a bit and/or take some of the mid out of them, maybe in the 800-1k range? Just a bit, so the listener isn't...

    Purple Experiment - guitar instrumental

Thanks for the comments! Do you not like the sound of the drums, or the playing? I'll try implementing some of those changes.. Here it is with a vistalite kit, kind of an interesting sound! http://www.garystunes.com/purple_v.mp3

You Chose Him - kind of pop rock tune, mix opinions please!

I have some ducking compression going on, so the ryth guit, organ and synth pad all duck about 3 or 4 db when the main vocal is going..

You Chose Him - kind of pop rock tune, mix opinions please!

I'm wondering.. the ratio of views to replys is always about 10:1.. Maybe most people aren't registered and can only view?

You Chose Him - kind of pop rock tune, mix opinions please!

I know the vocal is a little bit inaudible in parts of the verses, I'm going to do another mix where I punch it up in the quiet parts.. Other than that I'd like some opinions on the mix/composition! Just kind of did that Autotune stuff for fun, never tried it before.. :)

Kind of Blues-rockish tune, Kicked to the Curb With Style! Mix OK??

Yeah, I'm used to using the word blues when referring to my stuff but this doesn't have much of that I guess! :) I'm thinking I overdid it in the mastering and it's kind of too compressed and pumpy and distorted, might do another one with a little less gain.. Thanks for all the comments!

Jingley Christmas guitar instrumental - comments on mix or composition appreciated!!

Ohh.. it's a vintage '59 Fender Bassman! ... :D Okay, a "virtual" one.. Guitar goes to a Sparkle Drive, then into an Echo Mia soundcard and is recorded dry, then processed through Amplitube 3 Fender Bassman and tape delay..

Jingley Christmas guitar instrumental - comments on mix or composition appreciated!!

I originally had the guitar dry, but it seemed a little flat and boring, so I went with the vintage slapback for a more rockabilly sound.. I do sing as well, or attempt to.. You can hear lots of my tunes at Gary Trithart | Facebook I'm going to do a Myspace page in the new year, cause my...

    Life By The Drop

Guitar is super well played - vocal comes in and sounds like you're singing about 4 feet away from the mic. Really well performed vocal, but far away and roomy sounding, especially compared to the guitar which is so close and intimate. I think the guitar would sound nice with just a smidge of...

Jingley Christmas guitar instrumental - comments on mix or composition appreciated!!

It's actually a Strat.. the begining and end parts are neck and mid single coils, and the middle minor part is a Tone Zone humbucker at the bridge.. Thanks for comment!

New Song, would love to hear what you think,...

I would say overall it sounds like a good live demo of a really good band, not a polished and produced recording though. It would need more vocal compression, bass and lead panned center, some light room ambience reverb on rhythm guitars and vocal. This is a really great song! There aren't many...
