Fostex 4-track is a reel to reel too, right? The small reels are inside the plastic to protect them, right? I hear it sounds as good as a Studer 2" 24 track.

:D
You have to check if the neck is too bowed by the tention of the strings. If it is you have to adjust the truss rod. Or take it to a guitar tech
I use 11-49 strings, but I tune to C#

Recording Books, huh?
Well what I would do is I would put a mic in front of the the book, wait for it to make a sound and set the levels, then crank rec and record it :D.
Then repeat it on every book you need to record ;) :D ;)

Yes you need 2-conductor + ground wire for balanced
conductor1 = T
conductor2 = R
ground = S
and 1 conductor + ground for unbalanced.
conductor = T
ground = S
Electric drums + Real cymbals combo would work nicely. You would get the sound of real cymbals and the electric drums don't sound TOO bad, but they don't beat a good acoustic set.

Ok looks like your FAT is fucked up. Had the same thing happen to me for no obvious reason. I used a program lostandfound and got 90% of my stuff back. But when u use a program like that you have to have another HDD where you can copy the recoverd files.

Re: Re: Please Help me
Blaming the gear without being there is soooo lame.
It's like giving someone mixing advice without hearing the song first.
