I play piano in the Chad Sipes Stereo and all also do a lot of session work around the city.
I am 25. I also front the new band "Atlas" expect an ep out soon.
I might be looking for a touring drummer, know of any?
i do believe automatic delay compinsation would make us all happy.
however with computers getting so much master...
what would be the reason to buy HD????
i have used the api 2500 Waves plugin comp.
it can do some cool stuff, I was thinking about 2 512 and 2 of the api comps.
then possibly moving onto 2 five fish studio pres
then who know knows what else.
I'd like to replace the 2 berhinger pres/comps I have and maybe start replacing the...
one of the bands I play in the drummer uses a kick, snare, high hat and ride.
he's in his late 20's early 30's age range, known pretty well in the pittsburgh music scene for playing that way as well.
he keeps it pretty fresh for using so little.
you can really focus on the groove.
hrmmm
that is a good point,
I would like to be able to move this box of goodness around.
it might be easier to carry two of them.
Is there any compatibility issues with using something other then the API lunch boxes?
Ok, maybe I should elaborate.
If I create a Tempo Map using Beat Detective based off of the snare drum(I.E) The snare drum is where I want all the hits to aligh to.
How do I get the other tracks to follow that same Tempo Map.
Is there a stype instruction on how to do this in beat detective?
Every time I try and use it all the "hits" get cut apart and nothing shifts to the right place.
I was under the impression I make a "beat guide" then align the other transients to it.
I'm going to take the plunge(in the next 2 months) to some hire quality gear.
I've been looking at going with a rack of 500 series gear.
Are there "lunch boxes" that support more then 6 units?
Idealy I would like 2 API pres and 2 API comps, and then still alot of room to expand.
thanks,
JM
