I just got a Esp and cannot get the "g" string to set right . It tunes sharp on the 12th fret but the adjustment is all the way back. the rest of the strings are on the money, neck is straight, action is good. Im confused!!!

After a while of using my computer, My audio playback starts to shutter a bit. Im using a 1.4 ghz laptop with 2g of ram, two firepods hooked up by firewire. Am I overloading my computer? How can i set things up to be more stable?

Any advice on guitar effects plugins. Every one i have for Distortion and anp modules sound very harsh. I have the drum mics as close as possible. Any other suggestions. Overhead placement perhaps? When i turn off the overheads, the drums sound much better but i loose the cymbals.
