Yes, that was my reasoning behind using the MBC. I could try dropping that off and remixing the songs and then leave my master fader at unity. Maybe they won't sound so smashed afterwards...?

Well... the guys above said to bring back on the master fader. And since there aren't any plugs (comp, eq, whatever) on the master bus, it wouldn't make any difference... Yes.. the drums (a stereo track) are going into an MBC... should I nix that? :o

Literally nothing on the master bus. Dropped the input gain off to -6 before mixdown and there you have it. :o...

You say low end.. do you mean like maybe < 300Hz? Should I just drop a parametric EQ and hi-pass the master bus?

On the "try different instruments" note... try using electronic stuff. processers and whatnot. I recently had a band come in for a couple weeks to record five songs for them and they used a vocal effect on their stuff the whole time. i think it was a guitar pedal, a digitech rp250 or...

Hey everyone: I've got a B-52 ST6012 that has a footswitch with channel select and overdrive select built into a stereo cable, and then the reverb toggle uses a mono cable. Where can I buy a foot switch like this? The B-52 foot switch is a piece and doesn't work AT ALL.

I have a B-52 ST6012. Nice amp.. but the reverb tank took a huge shit on me (springs broke). Previous tank was a real long one with two springs. Can I replace it with any tank I want? I guess thats the big question here. Thanks.
