    problem holding my axe

It's all in your head. When I was younger I took guitar lessons an hour twice a week. I practiced an hour each day. All that was done sitting down. After about 3 years I joined a band. I played the same way sitting or standing. I am not trying to be a wise ass. Just get into the music and you...

Multi effects processor advice for tube amp

I own a crap load of effect boxes. I love the sound of my 65 Fender Twin (original no re-issue) I did do an effects loop modification on it. I don't care for the amp mods either on many of these amp modeling multi-effects boxes. I like the way my Fender sounds. I agree with betaphase that the...

    Digitech GNX3 as acoustic preamp

I'll be honest with you, the "Acoustic Patch" on the Gnx3 sounds great using a Strat. I don't really use my acoustic guitar thru my Gnx3. I mainly use the Gnx for electric lead guitar effects. But you can if you want, it sounds o.k. when used with a Fender or Vox combo and a little bit of reverb.

Thinking of buying a Vox AD50VT

I've had my AD120VT for 2 years. I have an ATA case for it since I gig all over the U.S. It's been shipped to at least 24 different cities and I've never had one problem with it. Ask around at VOXTALKS or BEATGEARCAVERN.

    Just bought an M-Audio Tampa

I'd rather have a makeup gain knob then a variable impedance knob. I guess if I owned Vintage Mic's I would care but I don't. I'll wait for the next model to come out with the makeup gain. I've read the company has received allot of complaints about that.
