    Electric upright bass build

My latest build.Electric upright bass that mounts on a mic stand. It's actually a modification of a cello I had built last year. I extended the neck and bought an upright bass fingerboard. The wood is Makore. Really pleased with this one. I still have to mount the pickup (a regular old Pbass...

    Varieties of P-90s

I have a fetish for minihumbuckers. Not only do I like the sound of the ones I've had, but I think they look wicked cool. Still, I hear such great things about P90s, I think I might throw some in a guitar I'm building.

I've bought a set of minhumbuckers and a Musicman style bass humbucker. I'm also no connoisseur, so I'm quite easily satisfied.

    Collaboration with Miroslav and jordo!

I wouldn't change the vocal one iota! particularly when you say "3 in the moooorning!" :D Steel guit and lead guit sound great. Nits: -Shaker is a bit too prominent. Not so much in 2nd mix, though. -a few minor timing issues imbedded in the basic track.Totally appropriate for a drinking song...

    Latest train wrecks!

The guitar is a Jay Turser.cost me about 50 bucks. The bass neck was even cheaper. They both work fine. Unfortunately, I'm not even close in equipment or skill to make my own necks.

    Latest train wrecks!

My usual explorer body style. This one is strictly for my GK3 guitar synth pickup, which allows me to preserve some of the terrific tiger maple stripes, without cutouts for conventional pickups. Unfortunately, the whole rest of the body is a train wreck of lamination. I put it together out of...

    Doubled up midi notes

What is a "marquee"? What I normally do when I find these phantom notes is enlarge the view, horizontally until the note is large enough to highlight and delete. Very cumbersome!
