a couple freestyles that are better then yours

Then they aren't freestyles at all. They're writtens. And for being writtens, they aren't impressive at all.

a couple freestyles that are better then yours

You sound like you're reading lyrics, not off the dome. Real recognize real, and you ain't flipping off the dome.

    Finally...some new ish

Stray, If I could push any influence on you, it'd be this... Stick to sampling. All your stuff is dope, but the sampled stuff I hear from you, is just SICK. The way you flip guitar melodies and all, and the chops are fluid, fam. You're in another level on that compared to most. Just my opinion.

PQ Editor's, CD Subtext encoding for mastering.

Thanks John. I wasn't aware CD Architect would do that... How about the full version of Nero? How about Plextools? Or am I way off there? I suppose if Wavelab Essentials will do it, that's not too expensive. I just hate to purchase a program for the sole intention of PQ Editing...

PQ Editor's, CD Subtext encoding for mastering.

Mastering Guru's, is there anything available for the pro-sumer market for this? I can't seem to find a Software that will allow PQ Editing, and Create CDT that will transfer in the replication process... There's a good chance I'm not looking in the right place, too. So please enlighten me.

    GULLY JEWELZ.. get in here

Wow... umm... I don't wanna be rude jude, cruder than usual dudes... but... That's a really bad mix, BKnot. Vox are muddy as all get out, the beat seems ok, but there's a lot of competing frequencies in the melody. I hope this isn't an intentional mix. :(

Bigwillz24 vs. RafagasMusic vs. Killa Trakz

Gotta go with Big Willz. Melody became a bit repetitious midway through, but overall, it was my favorite. I like Killa's next best. A bit more on the hype tip. Didn't really feel the last one too much. Just not to my liking.

Anyof you guys listen to horrorcore?

Nope, never dug horrorcore too much. Always seemed like dudes talking about stuff they don't possibly do. It's so far fetched, and unrealistic, I could never dig it. But that's me.

    cross overs

Considering over 85% of Hip-Hop is purchased by white people ages 13-25 you'd be better off marketing to the white people.

    Pure Beat Publishing

Just set up your own publishing company in the form of an LLC. That way, you get 100% of your royalties. Unless they don't charge you anything, then it'll probably break even.

Mastered an album today for a southern group...

Mastering can be crazy boring. 90% of mastering, is listening to the music. Letting your ears tell you how to massage the track, to bring out and highlight it's best qualities. So, before you even sit down for a mastering session, like I did today, you'll put multiple hours of critical listening...

Mastered an album today for a southern group...

This group is on a boom-bap Hip-Hop vibe with a focus on lyricism, and their beats are full of rock guitars and harmonica's and all that. They're seriously dope, in a non-commercial sort of way. I actually enjoyed the 6 hour mastering session.

    Hustle Magic II

Considering we have a pannel of judges determining what's good enough to make the compilation, I think we should press it and sell it. If we do any free downloads, it should be for promotions sake, and to drive sales. Not to give away music we all worked hard on...
