With more testing, I found out that this limitation with the total song length. No matter how many tracks you use, you can not make a song more than 60 minutes long. I find this odd.

does anyone have any info on this. I was recording a live mix on to the mr8 using one input on track 1 only and when the counter hit 60 minutes exactly it wouldn't let me record any more on to the track. is this limitation with the track's length or the total song length?

i'm thinking about copping one of those 5 channel Behringer mixers for like $79.00 from Musician's Friend and usign that as a preamp for one of those $70 MXL condenser mics. Because then I can use the Behringer mixer to also sub-mix my drum work (when i get a drum mic set). And hell, the price...

as for "Autumn", how many drum mics did you use? did you record in this in a sound room with special walls or anything or just a room in your house? how many voices are used for the harmonies in the very beginning?

i updated mine with other files on the card. it won't harm the other files at all.

this says the PQI cards shouldn't be used with the mr8 but mine works fine. what's the deal with that?

yeah i have bounced and converted with no issues. it looks like this card is pretty solid with the mr8. hopefully this card will end up on the next 'confirmed' list.

yeah you're right, you could probably hum songs and feel the vibration in your head. hopefully none of us will have to do that though.
