LMAO!! Pop Goes the Weasel... then THe KNIGHTRIDER theme... Guitar is making your snare vibrate :o Really rocking tunes... a killer song. (money city maniacs) Singer sounds like Rick Springfield :p That guitar sound is beautiful... reminds me of a kickass band I can't name right now... it has...

    Folk?

first of all... great playing/feel... The main rhythm guitar sounds like it can't breathe... almost like compression, squashing the sh*t out of it... but the threshhold is too fast, as is the decay... (a wild guess) Agree with the "more space" comments... maybe dial back the compression on one...

    ..A new collaboration..

yeah!!! Um heavy and stuff... loud... drums take over the job of beating the heart... Tom's voice right in the center of my brain... Are you boosting highs on those keyboard drums? There's some high-end fuzziness on 'em. The dry, dry, dry production on the lead vocal is refreshing for one...

    Studioviols & Ghost Collaboration

You guys did an excellent job, and created a keeper tune. Very nice quality and the music fit the words well. Sorry 'bout the "fast break" post here, but had to stop by and tell you I heard it.

My Goal: To Bring Back The 70's Space Concept Album...

Really, really nice composition. Arrangement is cool... This does have the Brit invasion flavor to it, doesn't it? Kinda Sargeant Pepper... kinda Floyd... Mixwise/recordingwise, I'm noticing some harshness in the voc trax, but esp. the snare drum... somewhere between 3k-7k I'd do some mic...

    METAL

Nice tremolo FX... Gr8 harm. vox... "The funerals are starting" Lovely angervoice.... aggression... awesome progression... and rhythm/riff. LOVE the drumming.. if not the samples... the DRUMMING itself rules. Not a lot of complication in this piece... but excellent comp.... it goes and...

    Sunday Morning...

cleanest dirty shirt... had another for dessert... cheap mic on the vocal? Tons of compression. Throw some auto-tune on that hiss... a.t. + hiss = reverb  lol Pretty good fer a quickie. Sounds like one of yours... has your signature travis-pickin. The backing vox need level (maybe...

    "MBuster" Is A TOTAL wuss...

ok... how many times have the letters "lol" "lmao" or "hehe" appeared in this thread? 2? 3? 600 times? (and yes, mbuster is a wuss... thanks for writing what we were all thinking, chris... lmao ;)) The intro voices could come up a tiny bit... be compressed about 9999999:1... not so...

Ok, this thread not a joke. Real new song inside.

Damn the huge synths. Damn that soul patch! Damn Matthew Perry, while we're at it :D Parley = barley + p? This thing is huge. Love the rap side-stick snare. Sounds pure K-Tel. The Prodigy stuff nightmare pillows fills with floats don't dispaaair... zion... Your voice could come up...

    Blue eyes

groo-VAH chun-KI san... You're Finnish? Or Swedish, right? Your accent sounds a lot like CrankyOne's, that's all. :) Pretty good recording you have here. And a good composition. The drums have a lot of "space" or room sound on them, but it doesn't detract too much. Good pop song. Nice vocal...

    Lift with a different mix

Here she comes again! This is a good cut... balances seem nice. The mix is more "live" than what I'm used to hearing in the genre... which is totally fine. If you're going for that slick gospel groove mix, you could always compress the daylights out of the vocals, horns and other leads and...
