I dont mean demo model's I'm talking about individual mic's my experience has been that each and every mic tend to sound a little different sou I would like to try the mic im going to buy not a demo of the same mic
OK.everytime I ask to listen (?) to a mic here in texas ,they say its against health code here to sing into a mic that I might not purchase, any one else heard about this??
not to mention that using cable and standard network cards are cheaper and easier to troubleshoot :) and if you are only networking 2 computers you can use a crossover cable instead of buying a hub.so conceivably you could set it up for under 60 dollars maybe under 30 if you really shop around
I prefer not to use effects or any type of DI (cept for bass) I reall am under the impression that it probably lies mostly in the room(not much a can do about it)and as fae as my sound goes,I get a VERY thick warm tone(marshall jcm 800 with 6550's)through either cabinet(4X10,or 4X12)maybe I just...
I've heard that the insulation helps to stop standing waves within a cabinet, since it only buzzes on low A and no other notes,I believe that that would be the resonant frequency of the cabinet,So adding some bulk(ie.insulation) would probably help disperse the sound waves and add mass which...
I checked almost everything on it,all the screws are tight ,the speakers themselves are in excellant condition, the only thing I can think of is that, since there is no cushion of any kind in the cabinet(to absorb and reflect waves)maybe I'm having a standing wave problem??I bought this used and...
So I have an sm57,and an art tube mp,running into my sb pci128 on my computer,The sound I'm getting isnt that bad ,its just not that good,I believe it probably my placement and room ,more than the equipment,I live in an apartment,so I cant get really loud either,I was thinking about some...
REgarding shielding for speakers
I am under the impression that most speaker companies actually place a second magnet on top of the speaker magnet ,same size and in a certain position so that the magnetic waves cancel each other out.
It has no power button!!Whats up with that??above the power connector there is a hole in the chasis,I assume thats where they thought about putting the power switch but I guess they didn't? Thanks Randy5235
Sorry To cross post,But i originally posted this in the cave and got one response.I thinking of shelling out the money for the "Recording Connection" program, has anyone either gone through the program or know someone who has??I'm not son concerned as to whether I can get a job so much as the...
Have you tried using the 57 about 6" to 1' away of axis and the 1000 about 5-6' away? That way you get a direct mic sound as well as some room with the 1000.
