Hey you with the presonus. Turn off the monitoring of the track you are recording in cubase. That way you only hear the track you are recording from the presonus mixer instead of through the presonus mixer and the playback from cubase. Trust me it works had the same issue.

first of back up all the data. (always a good idea) then click on the start button.go to run and type cmd click ok then type convert d: /fs:ntfs and follow any instructions after that.

there is another way to do this ... still backup first though its the convert command from the command line.

i personally think its all preference at this point almost all the products are going to give *about* the same quality if used properly . so at that end it comes down to which do you like and feel more comfortable using. Randy

are you using a PC?? If so I would perhaps forget about Logic (before you people piss and moan I like Logic ALOT) but apple just bought emagic and Logic is getting discontinued on the PC end (mac only from here on out) I would suggest however that you maybe try to find some demo's to play with...
