Yeah, I just tried to go to their site to see if there were any driver updates. When I got a dead link I came here to find out what happened. That does suck. I like my Q10 a lot. What does this mean for usability in the future? I wonder how important updated drivers are for campatibility with stuff.

Anyone? Does my description of the problem make sense? I figured out one thing: why I can't play the files in the Cakewalk Audio folder with Windows media player; It doesn't work with 24 bit files. The only way I'm able to play the files is by tediously importing them into Sonar one by one. Ptron

I think the Beatles did this on either Taxman or Revolution. Maybe both. I don't recall for sure. It doesn't work so well on a Mackie.

PA9 supports it but your soundcard has to be able to do it.

My soundblaster card doesn't seem to work either even though XP indicates no problems with it. That means neither of the two things I have plugged into the PCI slots is working right. Ptron

I also sometimes mic the bottom of the snare instead of the top in the 4mic setup because you do get a decent amount of the top in th OH's. Funny, my problem with a 4 mic setup is usually too much cymbals.

How about experimenting with the drum / cymbal positioning? Keep in mind those mic positions are just a suggestion. I usually place the mics above our drummers head so they pick up sort of an exagerated stereo image of what he hears.

Well the music store I just traded these to said they were a budget 57. I only got $20 apeice for them (I had two). I hope that's a reasonable trade value. I think I bought the pair at the same store six years ago for like a hundred bucks thinking "these look like 57s".
