I am using Cubase SX3. Is there any way so that I can use more compressor, EQ and reverbs other than those available in mine? Can I pull effects plugins from Cubase 4 and higher? Or can I use any other software which can be used along with Cubase? Please help me with your valuable suggestions.

First of all forget the section towards the computer. Check in the mixer. If there is any clipping of any tracks then lower the gain or volume knob. If there is no clipping in the mixer lets move to computer section. Check your recording software source. Is it selected for your XENYX mixer? If...

I was about to get Audio-Technica AT2020 USB mic...now I changed my mind to get XLR one. This is a good article about USB mics.

Thank you Thank you for your replies. My main problem is that when I record vocals it remains different than music track. Music track is okay for me but the vocal dont mix together. Is it because I used 1/4" jack to connect mixer to Line 6 GX, or is it Line 6 GX that is not good for vocals. And...
