a) because it will look like you just came from changing a diaper
b) it will gum up the edges of the frets when mixed with body oil
c) It will cake inside the coiled strings and corrode them and dull your sound
d) If you are wearing dark clothing it will look like you just had a run with Cocaine...
I rely on a fair amount of Canadian made gear... Apex, Art, Yorkville and Traynor. All of it pretty decent for what it is. I also have some Behringer stuff that I like. Their tuner makes a great rack light and their headphone amp works well if you get the model that doesn't catch fire.
True but if he loves to sing then the rest will come with time. I guess the thing for EVERYONE is that you should be realistic. You WILL NOT BE FAMOUS! But if you sing because you love it then you will be successful.
