I own a AKG 1000S Condenser Mic - I have been using this as my main recording mic (acoustic guitar and vocal and sometimes an amp) with , "eh" results.
I am sure it has to do with my placement and or room but I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this mic and how they use it...

Recording novice/experiementer here with a mix question. When doing a final mix, I tend to get each track how I want it (EQ/FX) and then bring it into the "final" mix using the fader and pan.
