    Who Destroyed Metal?

I picked Korn because they paved the way for Fred Durst's faggy jock rock. The true death of metal. How the hell can you put Bad Religion on that list?

    Very easy question probably(about firepods)

You can get an 8x8 mixer and run the outs into the 'pod pres. though you wouldnt see any movement on screen. You could also hook a control surface up to you computer it works independantly of the Firepod.

Using Fruity Loops Studio as a plugin with Sonar

if i knew how rewire worked, I would say do that, as that seems to be the best route. I just copy the .dll files from FL and put them in the VST file in my Cubase. Works good that way. I do love that BooBass. Now if only I could find a good string sound.....

    Listen to my bass track...

Your raw vs processed tracks can be thought of in the shape of an inverted eight, Your raw is sounding very full, good job, whereAs the processed sounds like you squared off the high and low ends, boxing the sound a bunch.

Plugin and VST function - yes I searched

most of these downloads come zipped, so you unzip them into the VST folder in your cubase. It will show up in the program when you load it next, because part of the startup is a VST scan. VSTs are generally .dll file types.

    Mic for screaming?

Slidey, are you thinking of the 421, not the 431? j/c as for the question. All mics are good for screaming. A general rule is if you want the highest quality, you will want to use a condenser microphone, and since high(er) SPL's are involved, maybe use one with a pad. Next thing I would...
