I have had Three major Breakthroughs

and i wasn't playing Blocker or Bustout. I have had some mind changing sonic breakthroughs with re-guard to mixing and to a lesser degree mastering. If anyone would like me to mix a track for them please post it so i can listen as i need to see this effect on different aspects of frequency...

    From A Cubase3.xx User

no i'm using 1.888 because i have been busy...... When i say "wrapped" i mean a window FX chain outside the FX. if this is fixed in 2.0 no prob. if there are no DX wrappers (different type of wrapper) then how does this effect performance? also I have an editing issue i can't seem to find...

    From A Cubase3.xx User

Oh one other thing i'm not sure if Reaper uses DX wrappers... so i don't know how that will effect performance if one is using DX fx a lot. it could slow down? and now i think maybe it is being used? maybe Pipeline can answer this? i didn't see any performance loss though it must be said...

    From A Cubase3.xx User

summary 8 out of 10 i did some basic tests with the automation.... while it takes a little getting use to visually.. it is very good i can bypass and effect every aspect. and that leads me to the summary: this program is as good as any system i have used, in some respects actually better...

Fake drums are sounding very real

Can i tell a story? This whole "Real" Drums "Fake" drums thing has got me a little confused? it does not matter what "Drum software program" is being use so long as it maps the trigger information to the actual sample? now how is anyone’s 24bit recorded instance of say… a snare "real" and the...

    Critique my drum recording quality.

good work i like that! "a full one gallon paint can on top of it." I can almost visualise how good that would sound. Probably really deadens the resonance which is what you are having a problem with there Visa.

    What's limiting YOUR recordings??

Yeah doing what it takes. and sometimes doing what it take means diving in deep water trenches looking for a funky ball of tits from outer space. or kissing a donkey. but not limited to that.

    What's limiting YOUR recordings??

jrhager84 I'll give you a hint; it's your snare not your "room". the snare sound....it needs some attention. as it lacks attack tune it up, hit it, listen to it, has it got attack? no? do something else until it does. which could include getting a new snare, another one if you are tracking a...

*Frustration Factor 5*, noise in Cubase Studio 4!

If your motherboard is USB1.0 you can't upgrade those ports , but you can just buy a PCI USB 2.0 card : cheap. yes that could be the problem indeed, sounds like it anyhow! great guns, hope you get it fixed. peace.

    Thanx Ido1957

Thnx for the feedback yeah i always liked this one because of the multiple guitar melodies doing different things (like in the intro) but of course it never turns out how it sounded when you were doing it. I do have one critic of it---those cymbals at the intro the crash I think they are a...

*Frustration Factor 5*, noise in Cubase Studio 4!

Ok I just looked up the product your talking about: ok so this is taking Analogue signal and converting it to Digital then sending that down the USB. ok first questions: you will need USB 2.0 so i hope your PC has that. ALSO you will need the USB 2.0 Drivers functioning. USB 1.1 ------ =...

new mix of my song - please listen

on Second Review i don't like to do half arsed jobs so if you want to hear it look at it as an indication of the song anyone will see the difference but because of the level and it being an MP3 there are limitations as to how far one can go. i learnt some big lessons just now mastering this...
