If you're talking custom built from an independent luthier that's hardly "authentic". Find one you like and make it do what you want it do do. Change the whole wiring harness if that helps. BTW...Rockabilly died in 1959 so yer a year off!!!:D

Off topic but...gas prices are making touring cost prohibitive. Especially here in Canada because of the distance between major cities. I'm talkin' indie bands in stinky little vans not major label tours.

I have a '77 Super Twin Reverb also from Riveras hand...The overdrive pot got re-named "The Suck Knob" because it truly does. My small amp is a Epi Valve Special....all tube 5 watt but ditch the stock speaker...I haven't yet but I plan to.

...I'm gutting my "studio" to prep fer paint and overhaul...found a Beri DSP1124P. Fergot we had it. Any use ??? It's supposed to be a "feedback destroyer" but it's got a parametric eq in it. Advice??? Should it stay or should it go??? [Bad Clash reference].:D

I assume that when people say "lacquer" they are referring to nitrocellulose. As far as Polyurethane, polyester, poly wanna cracker...same difference.:D
