A direct x spectral analyser would help. This would help you see what frequency content each mic had, and thus which frequencys needed to be adjusted to make it nearer to your template mix in feq. balance.

Digiface is not just for ADATs, it just uses the ADAT format (amongst others) to send information I think. I'm planning on using it in conjunction with a Swissonic converter i.e. http://www.swissonic.com/system_builder/rme.html

Nope, it's the card that's the problem. Is it an AC'97 ? If so, I remember some sort of weird issue with them... can't remember the details though. They are probably the worst possible sound cards for recording though, and you should probably consider upgrading. Cheers, Nathan

In order of importance: Butch Vig. COMPRESSION. Mesa-Boogie. Big Muff(The answer to alot of life's problems). Double and triple tracking of distorted guitar parts. COMPRESSION. I love Gish. Thought they went downhill steadily after that though.
