I'm serious, don't want to start a flame war but I don't see how theres no Ramones influence in this. Your saying this music doesn't resemble the Ramones style in any way at all, that theres is nothing even vaguely similar. I just don't get it man.

come on Greg, how is this not Ramones? I see how its not completely Ramones but how can you hear this and think it has no Ramones influence?

I like it. I agree with the comments about the guitar, needs more low end. Are you using an amp sim? If so you may want to just adjust the settings on the amp sim itself.

I like your sound, your amp sim isn't too bad. It actually works really good for this style. From what I know about Dinosaur jr. They are considered noise rock or lo-fi-ish, so it works. I use amp sims all the time, real amps have their advantages but if you don't have $2000 or cant crank...

Robus, I'm using native instruments scarbee bass running through a guitar rig 5 bass amp sim. The thing is I copied the kick drum midi and used that for my bass line, then I added the short note to give it a shuffle feel, so I don't know how it could be off. I'm going to try and listen...

There will be some solos added next. So robus I'm going to let you in on a little secret. The first bass section is midi. The louder section is a real bass. Can you tell that it switches?

Really good feedback robus. I'm similliar to you. Guitar player for 6 years I only play bass to supplement my guitar recordings. Bass is very different.
