they pick up absolutely no low end, their freq. responce only starts at 100 hz. that's pretty shitty.

i just recently aquired a digitech metal master . . it has a really really thick distortion, sounds really good live and recorded on my roland cube 60. i got this for free from a client who was a singer, and doesn't play guitar anymore. but i'm sure you can find on ebay for cheap. just my 2 cents

the studio i work in doesn't even have 96khz capability. our max is 48. we have a protools system, and it was top of the line a year and a half ago. we are the biggest studio in nor cal. are you really that thick skulled?

i read that sony recently patented a form of this technology, and are researching it and marketing it as a "real life matrix" like the movie. not just sound, but video, taste, etc.
