I bought a audix D4 for my kick drum about a year and a half ago and i've only really used it once. the other day i went to use it and there was very little signal comming from it. i checked everything and couldnt hear anything unless i cranked my monitors and faders and just taped on the mic...
can someone post a close up pic of the two so i can distinguish them? i work at a music store and everytime i pass the cables they look the same to me other than having speaker written on them
that'd be awesome to live right down the street from his mom and see his studio. dave is probably one of my biggest role modles. something about him makes me want to rock. i dont think that the studio at his mom's place is THE home studio they record at. i know in his own house he's got a very...
i measured my power amp which takes up 2 spaces and the distance between holes is 3 inches so i figure i'll be looking for hole that are 1 1/2 inches apart right? i read somewhere that racks have wierd spacing on them that isnt always 1 1/2 inches aprt in hole spacing
i know it'd probably been done before and it seems simple but what dimensions would i need and what are the hole spacings on the rack rail so i can buy the right ones
on my vs2400 it only has 8 inputs which i plan on using to record drums. however i'd like to give the drummer something to play to alongside a metronome. i was thinking of using a patch cord to go from my mixer (with the metronome) to an adaptor and then use a patch cord to go from the guitar...
im thinking of getting a pair but i'd like some information or oppinions on these speakers. are they good? are they accurate enough to provide a good mix? any information would be good.
the only thing i've noticed with them is that they tend to give a lot of bass output which could be good...
im not necessarily looking at the ysm1s but i just used it as an example for a cheap monitoring system. i found some samson resolve 65a's for a decent price so i might go with those
is it necessary to use a shockmount for the mxl 603s? i've seen them around the itnernet but i spoke to a guy today who said just using the clip that comes with the mic will do a good job
hey. i just purchased a roland VS2400CD digital mixer and now im shopping around for monitors. do i need digital monitors to get the most out of my new system? or could i use a pair of regular Yorkville YSM-1's and still get a pretty decent sound. i dont have too much money to spend but i'd...
im still looking at getting a new mixer to do some recordings and now im stuck debating between the digi002 and the vs2400. both have their perks but im wondering what you would recomend in terms of sound quality, effects, flexibility, and overall usage
so at my work today we had a guy come in with a Maxi Studio ISIS PCI soundcard which he wants to sell on consignment for $150 CDN. it seems pretty nice especially with the 8 inputs and the midi ports.
my question is... is it any good? i paid almost $300 for my delta 44 used and that only has...
do you need to put the vst instrument on while you are recording real time or do you just place it over the existing file and it replaces the orriginal instrument with the VST
