My first thought is sticky tape, it can bring the trasnsport to a halt in no time. The belt can also be an issue on an old machine. My advice is to change the belt and try new tape. :)
Ha, I just noticed that! I actually used AN in my mind. lol I took it upon myself to add it...:p I can also make a high res version if anyone wants one, with the original authors blessing of course...
I had one a few years back, very nice machine. Came with original box, remote, reels, ect. I should have kept it...I beleive they were manufactured from 1978-1982.
I finally found some brochures I picked up in 1988 when I was drooling over some Tascam reel to reels. If anyone wants a copy of a BR-20 and 22-4 brochure you can download it here:
http://www.mastercontrolmedia.net/tascam.zip
There are 2 pages for the BR20 and 4 for the 22-4.
Enjoy. :)
It's happened to me a few times, but I just take it as a compliment. ;) However, the ad should clearly state that it is not a photo of the actual item.
Correct, the DX-4D does not operate with a A-3440 even though the control signal cable will fit into the connector. You can modify the DX-4D to become a stand alone device and no control signal will be nessessary.
