"Apparently" the list on the SP5 is something like $89.99 but it could be wrong where I read that. I wouldn't compare the 58 to a $10 mic....I have one of them on my comp right now from when I got my comp and I wont even record onto it even for fun cause it's su discouragingly crappy sounding...
What would you recommend that I buy used for around $60??? (my student budget is very limited) I'm doing acoustic guitar/vocal recording onto my computer (Sonar) and live through a PA.
Would I be further ahead to go for an M-AudioBuddy (will the low phantom power 44.1 I think ...run my...
What does this mean, and how do you do this???
"if you want to thicken it out in the chorus, what I usually do is group the backgrounds together and EQ the hell out of them to exactly that one frequency that will add a little depth to the lead vocal without getting in the way, so you feel it...
Yeah I'm not going to be using a pickup for recording.
I mean for live if I wanted to put a rare earth on my guitar and want to use the ebow live.....will this work seeing as the pickup is exposed (unlike an saddle pickup installed) ....I figured it would since electric guitar pickups...

Yeah I know about the strings.......I've got a Taylor 314 so no worries about nylon.....thanks alot. By the way when you plugged your ebow in did what kind of pickup did you use with it? I'm getting a Fishman rare earth for my Taylor and was wondering if the ebow would work well with this...
Does anybody know if an Ebow used acoustically (just acoustic guitar, no pickup or amp) can be mic'd with a Studio Projects B1?? I'm just wondering if I were to really boost the level on the track if I would get enough volume out of this. I'd try it out but I dont have an ebow, trying to check...
Hey Seanmorse, I'm in the same "trying to make a ghetto studio" situation while I'm in University and don't have the cash. I have a set of Altec Lansing satellite speakers with a sub on my computer right now.......would a set or these Roland MA-8's be an improvement from these for mixing...
Hey CrossStudio, I've been looking into this quadreverb processor and thinking of picking one up for live acoustic gigs through a PA. If I end up spending around $75-$100 on one am I getting a decent unit for my money? I dont have much to spend at all, and I just want something that will keep...
Sorry I guess I should read more carefully.......the Drums ...ok : ) and the Vocals are from the B1 too??? WOW, I can't wait to get mine........I forgot to ask if you had a preamp for your mic and what kind. Thank you again. BJ
Hey man, the song sounded great.
Could you give me some advice please?? That is practically my ideal recording setup, just some fairly mellow acoustic guitar/vocals stuff with maybe some light drum stuff in there here and there. I'm quite new to this whole recording deal though and was...
Does anybody who talked to him earlier about the equipment he had for sale on the thread below know if he is still selling this stuff, or if he's just away for a but?? I'm just curious if I should start looking elsewhere for the Behringer 802 that he was gonna sell me. Thanks .......BJ
Just wondering if anybody (prefferable in Canada to keep shipping and duty costs low) is getting rid of a good PA?? I need something suitable for Bars/Coffee Houses for a decent price. I'm a student and can't afford to spend much but I neeeeed one of these to start playing gigs when I get home...
