Acoustic and reggae ska stuff for the most part. battery sounds pretty solid. Unless anyone thinks I should do otherwise I'm going to give it a shot. A little band recording and lots of acoustic. nothing to hard really.

Hi guys, I can't figure out how to import my beats from cd to the portastudio. Ive tried .WMA, .data, .mp3, and .WAV. I've went through the manual trying to figure it out. I just cant seem to figure it out. I want to dub over my beat with vocals. Can anyone help?

If you don't care about the recording all to much as you are saying, use the speakers. If you want it to sound like some what of a song and not a bunch of different tracks throwin together, get some monitors.
