    Should I Use Cubase?

Unless your interested in using your computer as a sequencer or in virtual instruments, CEP will do the job as a multitracker

    Roland TD-5 Module with BFD??

If it can't rock velocity, its a waste of your time. I can't imagine it can't, however.

    Moog Liberation

I believe the Liberation is the same as the Moog Rogue, which I'd classify to be one step behind the Moog Prodigy. Luckily, the Rogue is (ostensibly) the same as the Realistic Concertmate MG-1, which Moog made for Radio Shack in the early 80's. I share only because I don't see too many...

    Roland TD-5 Module with BFD??

Your limitations will be with the TD-5. Can it send individual midi notes for each "drum", with velocity settings? Can it send midi notes at all?

    turntable features

Don't get one with an auto arm.... And you'll need a mixer if you want your technique to sound like traditional turntablism

    Random Crackles on Recording

I'm guessing you have an IRQ problem with the 44. M-audio cards are VERY picky about IRQ settings, and refuse to work (most notably in CEP, strangely enough) unless they're getting the resources they need. I cannot explain why it works in some programs and not others, but my guess is that it...

A POD + a good monitor speaker might also do as a cheaper route.

why can i not find this stuff... it is treally that rare?

I dont think you'll find a rack mounted turntable. It would need to be supported from both the front and back (they can be heavy), whilst rackmounted gear is only attached from the front. Turntables are loaded from the top, while rack gear is approached from the verticle face. I can't imagine...

    MOOG Prodigy, footpedals?

What you Moog made a unit called the Taurus II, which was essentially the Moog Roque controlled by CV foot pedals. You could use the pedal set to control the CV gates in other Moog synths, and you'll often find just the pedal controllers for sale, without the oscillator brain. Check out the...

DMP3 and and delta 44 rack question

The Delta 44 isn't much bigger than a large candy bar- about the size of two decks of cards placed nose to nose. A rack won't help you much with either unit. Just stack them atop each other, maybe on top of your computer tower or monitor.

    The standared for buget monitars....

If there's a 'standard', which there's not, I would guess for this site it would be the Yorkville YSM models or some of the M-Audio pieces. Those, at least, seem to be the most popular.

    Sampling a MOOG

There's a few MiniMoog softsynths coming out in the near future, one by Arturia and another by GMedia/Ohm Force. Issue 74 of Computer Music Magazine has an exclusive demo of the Arturia VST, though I haven't had time to check it out. I think ultimately, a soft synth will give you more...

    Tab Software

They most certainly did not. This is, as Tom said, technologically impossible. Computer software isn't as nearly as discerning as your ears, and cannot pick out a guitar part from a piccolo line- it can only "read" the frequency content of the entire mix. Second, even if you inserted only the...

    Clicking during recording

I've had a similar problem with my Delta 44 and CEP 2.1. My issue was resolved by changing the IRQ of my card. It seems the M-Audio cards are REALLY sensitive to IRQ issues. I don't know why it didn't occur with Windows Recorder or Goldwave. I think it's because the quality just isn't up to...
