I have a Shecter Omen 5, a Spector, and a Epiphone Reverse Thunderbird 5 string, I use GHS bass boomers. I have listened to other professional mixes, and I hear this freq popping out. I guess its a personal preference.

I bought a laptop about 3 years ago to get started. It had only 4 GB ram.I have outgrown it. Now I am looking at a desktop, an i7, with 8 GB ram, and 1TB memory. I cant spend thousands of dollars. I think this will serve me just fine. Thoughts?

I am a bass player, recording our band. Can I use a MXL 990 condenser mic to record the kick drum. Or will the pressure pop the mic? Im using 3 shure 57's on the snare and overheads. Any help is appreciated.

I bought the Rokit8's as my first set of monitors. I always have to play my mixes on other forms to check my mixes. What a waste of $$. I keep reading that the Yamaha hs8 are the way to go. But I read that about the Rokits 10 months ago. Wish I would have never bought them.
