It's because NWR uses actual streaming, not DLAPB (Download and Playback), depending on what the artists settings are. For lo-fi, every single one is actual streaming. DLAPB is easy to do (any morron can point an M3U at an mp3), streaming is not, so most sites do DLAPB. W.
