Pissed around in Renoise/Reaper for a few hours this morning. Thought I'd share and see if this is worth doing anything with. Pretty much a complete mix/master sans vocals because I hate my voice as well as writing lyrics though this was written with vocals in mind so prepare for some repetition.
I don't mind a wet vocal mix but the quality of the reverb itself is a bit meh. Sounds like the reverb built into a karaoke machine and isn't flattering to what is otherwise an excellent mix and performance.
My pre-dominate genre is metal And, for my ears and tastes, there's a simple formula that all three mixes violate when it comes to the 'layering of frequencies' (for lack of better words).
Kick under bass under guitars.
In these mixes, and certainly the last one more so than the others, the...
Most of them will be installed as plugins in your DAW. Ignite amps has a nice free amp plug called Emissary as well as some pedal emulations, pre-amp/power amp amulations, etc. IGNITE AMPS - Engineering for the moshpit
Also, there's the LePou plugins.

Welcome, and yes. You have everything you need to plug in direct and use amp sims. Just be sure you have the ASIO drivers installed (assuming you're on a Windows PC) for your interface for live monitoring without a bunch of latency. There are lots of options in the amp sim world, a lot of which...
Audio Tool for android. I've tried it on a few cheap smartphones. Frequency response measurements were pretty consistent on the few phones I've used it on. A few cheap LG phones I've used clipped early so SPL measurements were inconsistent with one clipping above 68db and the other at around the...
Also, the whole 'you should mix at 75 db' thing has evolved from a misunderstanding of engineers suggesting you should measure your speakers by running pink noise through them at 75 db for room/monitor correction eq. The reasons for this are much too wordy and nerdy to get into without typing a...
There is no way to verify those apps will be accurate without a calibration file for the phone's mic. Even for SPL measuring. Being most cell phone mics suck, I would put very little stock in these apps. Dayton audio makes a measurement mic specifically for cell phone measuring apps.

Sounds like digital noise that comes with a ground loop between your interface and computer common with self powered interfaces. Make sure you are using balanced connections for everything. Even an unbalanced connection between your interface and monitors can cause this. Use only TRS or XLR...
Just for reference, my monitors are 3 feet apart and about 3 feet from where I sit and they are sitting on knock-off mopads. Not that I think mopads actually do much but they do make my speakers sit higher so the tweeters are level with my ears. (I know, sitting them on my desk isn't ideal but I...
I third what Jimmys69 and ecc83 already said. Get your monitors closer to you and each other. My room is far from ideal and I have an incredibly tight 'triangle' with my reasoning being that, though I can't eliminate the room's influence on the sound, the sound from the speakers themselves will...
