    My first effort

Guys I really appreciate the feedback:) I've let tons of my friends listen to the 4 tunes I posted and none of them had anything negative to say about the drums (in fact they usually would ask who played the drums). But I notice the electronic quality to them as do you because we're musicians...

    Audiophile 2496 PCI Question

I ordered a Delta 410 a month ago and it's still on backorder...So I'm looking at other cards.Specifically the Audiophile 2496. But does this card work with windows XP and does it have any advantages to the 410. Thanks.

    i have no luck

I think the drums sound good but I didn't compress them before they were in the PC, Obviously I can still compress them with cool edit. All I'm really worried about is clipping once I bring the volume up to par with the rest of the mix. Thanks guys for the input....I love this board.

:( yeah that's kinda what I thought...I just doubt 24bit guitars, bass, vocals, piano and then 16bit drums will sound good.

Here's my problem I'm upgrading my soundcard from a SB to a delta and I just got a good compressor. I've already got a full cd worth of good music and I'm going to re-record the guitar, bass, piano, etc. when I get my new soundcard. But all the songs on my drum machine got deleted and it would...

    Vocal effects Q's

Thanks for the input. I'm currently using a Yamaha MG12/4 mixer for my preamp and it supplies phantom power. Cool edit pro does offer some good effects but I kinda need effects during the recording process (for instance some compression during the recording). So do you think I can use the...
