Upgrade?? What's that? LOL!!!! The most recent upgrade I did was to my Power Mac...now it's running at a blazing 247 MHz!! I am with u, Fitz....it's all about making the music...in the end!! Nuff respect to the manufacturers, but they ain't takin' my money, unless absolutely positively necessary!!!

LOL@Fitz! Richie...embarrassed to say that I have Fender P-51 mics (they are listed )- looking at a few Shures soon. Using the pres from my Mackie mixer, if that's what u mean, the rest of the outboard is listed above...I just added a Presonus Blue Tube mic pre..it's nice. As far as the guitars...

Originally that was my plan, but I never tried it. At the moment, the problems seems to be fixed.

Tex, Trying to trigger the ext. drum machine. Works fine on another sequence I have...just deleted some measures in the beginning of the song. I suspect it is a controller midi message prob. It's no longer starting at measure 73, but at measure #2 now...weird, but I'll try your suggestion ...

Not an idiot by any means...it goes to show that good research pays off...I didn't even stop to think about phase cancellation. I will say that the science of room tuning and such is totally foreign to me. Fortunately there are a lot (and I do mean a lot) of resources...I need to get to reading...
