lol I have been a drummer for almost 6 years so yea I tuned it good..my snare is a 14" pearl export ...its made of maple and my resonance head is a pearl

the snare head I have now blows I hate it..its a remo power dot it sounds like its in a box when you record it..I am buying a new head tomorrow and I was wanting to get some opinions I am looking for a nice crisp snare head that sounds great in recordings can anyone help me?

thanks alot man that is my bands newest tune..I know some part of the mix isn't quite where it should be and I would like to have more volume in the mix but I can't seem to get it any louder..

the song sounds good but the mix sounds kinda muffled..doesn't seem like it needs alot of work..you guys seem to be pretty tight too...I don't know if you let other people do mixes for you but if you do I would like the take a shot at it

I am using sonar 6 producers edition..I am trying to get the cd volume.I know that I have to compress and limit it..which I have done but I still can't get loud enough.can someone please break it down for me? it is really holding me back
