I've got my wireless SM58 hooked up via XLR to my mixer. Got the mixer hooked up to the sound card from "Tape Out" (R/L) to LINE IN (with Y-connector).

I'm sitting here with my mixer next to my computer. Now do I use the mixer's R/L "Tape Out" to go to the computer's Line IN??\
There are also 4 Aux Sends too, but those are 1/4".

I've been reading about the M-Audio. Is this card specifically designed for digital recording? I didn't know there were 'specialized' sound cards as such. What's the difference in the results?
Also, I'm very confused about all the mic types. What do you use for...

I have a few different mics and they all have the 1/4" plug at the end. Do I need an adapter to go from the 1/4" to the smaller one that plugs into the back of the sound card? or do I need to get a separate module that goes between the two (mic and sound card)?
