Chris,
First time I've listened to you. I'm a fan, man.
While i was at it, i listened to Traveling Soldier. Awesome and moving. I love songs about a soldier's life. My dad, two brothers, and even I served in the military. Thanks again.

Fixed.
For some reason, the feed to my headphones line is much stronger than all the others. I had a reduce the gain on the headphones to eliminate the noise. All is well. thanks.
Dude, you must mean 30gb. Do 300gb hard drives even exist??
Definitely 512mb RAM
Good fast video card too. I think it's important for the rendering of the waves of the sound files. Otherwise, you sit, and sit, and sit...get my drift?
what else? everything else is pretty cool. you'll need...
I got cheap one, man. They're Sony MDR-CD180. I actually bought it to listen to my computer at work. Everything that comes out is warm, but i'm use to that. They work for me. I picked them up at best buy for $30.
I got a pair of MOREME's from Harvey too. Just recently. Pretty clear...
OK, help out guys. This is my first condenser mic. I just got it in and tried hooking it up just now.
I have the C3 plugged into low Z xlr with phantom power on.
I also have my Shure sm58 next to it. The Shure is putting out a signal, but no matter how i fiddle with the C3 and the gain on...
Yes, wave profiler was run.
I'm not at home right now so i'll try some of these things out.
I installed the driver off the included disc. Didn't update it from the internet. I'll check.
I actually don't own any. Been trying to convince myself to get some, but you could get by without them if you're tight on $$$. (like most people here are)
What I've read to 'get by' is to burn you a CD after you're done mixing, then listen to it on multiple mediums (cd player, car stereo...
Ticker,
Studio monitor speakers are designed to output the 'true' sound that it receives. Monitors are used to properly edit your tracks because they tell you exactly what the sound is like.
On the other hand, pc speakers (other speakers in general, including headphones) "color" the sound...
Just got my Sonar 2 xl and audiophile 2496 installed on my computer.
I have the 2496 OUTS going to separate channels on my mixer. I am getting major crackling in my playbacks within Sonar. But if I listen to the same waves in a separate wave editor, the crackling doesn't exist. Am I missing...
Can someone give me a site to read up on what to look for in buying a midi keyboard? like what features to look for.
I'll be using it with Sonar 2xl, sonic foundry 6, band-in-abox 12
i htink thats all i got

Jeez, djl. Sometimes I just think you want to be confrontational.
I was saying almost nothin is "made in the USA" anymore. The world economy is so interconnected. What the hell does it mean anyway, Made in the USA? Even if you find something that's 100% american made, it doesn't mean...
Hey guys,
I wasn't planning on using a Peavy EQ and a Digitech Effects Processor that I have for recording since most tracks can be manipulated via software.
But it sucks to have things just sitting around. Are there benefits to controlling the feed going in to the soundcard versus doing all...
Listen, I'm curious about what this is all about.
Are there qualifications you have to meet for this?
What is expected that we do?
How exactly do you 'meet' up with your picked partner?
I'd like to join in, but I don't wanna be a burden on anyone since I'm just startin' out with this.
