Can someone tell me the difference between the choices in Sonar M Audio AP Multichannel 1/2 vs. M Audio AP 1/2 Much appreciated. Also why is there M Audio AP Multichannel 1/2, M Audio AP Multichannel 3/4, and M Audio AP Multichannel 5/6? thanks are there really 6 inputs? kt

Sorry, i can't 'picture' what that sound you're describing is. maybe you should move this post to the Cakewalk forum and get better expertise. If you do, just say that this is a duplicate post. kt

go to Options--> Audio...-->Input Monitoring tab If all the audiophile lines are selected, you should deselect like Multichannel 1/2 and see if the 'echo' goes away. If not, deselect another one...i'm not sure which you have set up as your output. hope that helps. kt

if you're using sonar, you should diable input monitoring.

what do these mics usually cost? I saw $30. If so, that's still pretty cheap for mic, no? At $15, it's still a cheap crappy mic isn't it? Educate me.

I don't ever hear anyone on this BBS mention Crate Pro Audio mixers. I'm using one that's about 3-4 years old and it works great! It's a CSM12 channel. all channels supplied with phantom power. Has main outs, 4 aux sends, PFL out, Mix out, etc. you can read about it here...

that's right. The cpu slot for a pentium 3 won't take a celeron chip. upgrading the cpu really isn't an option. unless you're buying a new one.
