haha, you read my mind nick, or I read yours... i cleaned up the guitars a bit, the kick is comming through nicely now, i usually hit the kick pretty hard with the compressor.

I wish that came out before I got the Waves REQ. The digi EQIII sounds almost identical, has a better output AND was free...I find myself using it a lot. Along with the Bomb Factory Pultecs

Beta 52 blended with a nice D.I. box gives you a pretty nice sound. Really depends on the amp set up and DI.

I've been searching around for some cheap gear to add to my setup. I have come across a Manley Tube DI. Its 220 bucks.. I already have an Avalon AD2022, and just got a Sansamp bass driver. Would this be worth getting? Can it compare or outdue what I already have?

I picked up a pair of the OKtava MC012s awhile ago. for the price they were more then worth it.

No, the singer wouldn't use a stationary mic. So he was just running around my room screaming into a Sennheiser E835. He does the whole, cover mic with hands while screaming into it thing. There is a short reverb on the snare. I still need to play with that, I can't get it to be consistantly...

Nick, do you mean the tom rolls in the beginning? if so, they aren't triggered haha. The snare is though. I'll have to play with the EQ on the guitars, that was the one thing the band had to say about it. I've already made some changed, but haven't gotten around to posting it.
